Salary Range: 

  • $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 dependent on experience.

Position Summary:
As an Assistant Service Manager, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing the customer service experience from scheduling appointments through to final billing. You’ll also be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring productivity, quality of work, and effective communication across departments. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and a customer-focused mindset.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full service cycle: appointment setting, work order preparation, and final invoicing
  • Supervise, support, and motivate a team of technicians to meet productivity and quality goals
  • Monitor technician performance, assign jobs based on skill level, and ensure efficient workflow
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and follow-up
  • Assist customers in identifying service needs and offer appropriate solutions
  • Prepare accurate service estimates and obtain necessary approvals
  • Promote available products and services
  • Ensure work is completed to customer satisfaction and follow up as needed
  • Drive service department efficiency and actively identify upsell opportunities
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support overall dealership success

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role (preferred)
  • Previous experience managing or working closely with service technicians is highly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • High level of motivation, integrity, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
